PT. Zakti Grup Indonesia was built by two esteemed Indonesian gentlemen, a highly-respected public figure, Dr. dr. H. R. Agung Laksono who acts as the Chairman of the company and a well-experienced businessman, Mr. Deli A. Singgih as the Director.
Dr. H. R. Agung Laksono is a businessman and senior politician born in Semarang, Indonesia. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine from the Christian University of Indonesia, then was awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree (Honoris Causa) in International Business from Pittsburg State University, USA.
Despite graduating from a medical school, Dr. Laksono’s passion has always been in politics. He has been an active member in various organizations in the world of politics since his youth. His political career first began in the Golkar party in which he held several important and strategic positions. That eventually led him to be the Chairman of PPK KOSGORO 1957 from 2001 until 2019, and the party’s current Chairman of the Board of Expert since 2015. He also took part in the government’s office as a member of Indonesia’s parliament (DPR-RI) from 1987 to 1998, then was elected as the Chief of the House of People’s Representatives in the period of 2004-2009. Moreover, he held a number of positions in Indonesian ministries such as the State Minister of Youth and Sports in 2012-2013 and the Coordinating Minister of People’s Welfare of the Republic of Indonesia for the 2009-2014 period. On December 13th, 2019, Dr. Laksono was appointed as a member of the Presidential Advisory Council by President Joko Widodo for his second period of reign.
Viewing the continuous trust the nation has bestowed upon his shoulder, Dr. Laksono is unquestionably trustworthy and proficient to bring the company, along with its partners and most importantly the country, to the mountain top.
The other half of the mastermind is Deli A. Singgih. Mr. Singgih first began his career in the company established and run by his family which is engaged in shipping lines of sea transportation since 1985.
This second child of seven has also been active in various organizations in both the world of business and politics. He started young as the member of Young Entrepreneurs Association in 1989-1992, then later became the Vice Chairman of the Permanent Committee for International Institutions Cooperation at Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2005-2010 and 2010-2015 period. At quite the same period of time, he also held the position of Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Indonesia – Singapore from 2005 to 2015, and took office as the Deputy of General Treasurer of the Golkar party in 2009-2014 and in 2014-2017 period. Besides that, Mr. Singgih became the Head of KOSGORO 1957 during the period of 2013-2020. He also was a member of Golkar party’s Board of Expert in 2014-2019 and has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the organization in the period of 2019-2024.
Equipped with a total of approximately 35 years of experience in business and organizations, Mr. Singgih traveled to various lines of business both nationally and internationally, and has proven his undeniable skills and success in business and politics. With two great minds and multitude of experiences, together they founded PT. Zakti Grup Indonesia and will deliver in bringing success to the nation, the investors, and the global market.
